Persons with higher or postgraduate education meeting the University's qualification requirements are admitted to the competition for filling vacancies for teaching staff and researchers of higher educational institutions.

Persons wishing to participate in the competition submit an application (in free form) addressed to the Rector of the University. The following documents must be attached to the application:

1. Resume (form attached);
2. Copy of identity card;
3. Copies of higher education diplomas, academic degrees, documents confirming academic titles, and originals for verification;
4. Copies of retraining and advanced training certificates for the last five years (if any) and originals for verification;
5. Copies of documents on certification or assignment of a category in the relevant specialty (for clinical departments);
6. Medical certificate form No. 075U or health record book;
7. Certificate of the presence or absence of records issued by the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the commission of a criminal offense by a person;
8. Certificate from a narcological organization stating that the competition participant is not registered;
9. Certificate from a psychoneurological organization stating that the competition participant is not registered;
10. Information on the commission of a corruption offense.

Certificates provided under sub-paragraphs 6) – 9) above must be dated no later than one month prior to the date of document submission.

Provision of an incomplete package of documents according to the list, or in the case of late submission of the application, is grounds for a free-form refusal to accept the application.

Persons who are employees of the University submit a free-form application to participate in the re-election competition no later than the deadline for receiving documents published in the competition announcement on the official website of the University.

A competition participant has the right to provide additional information regarding their education and professional level (list of scientific publications, recommendations from management from the previous place of work), as well as documents confirming work experience and qualifications.

The documents of a candidate participating in the competition are preliminarily reviewed at a meeting of the relevant department, which issues an advisory conclusion.

Candidates participating in the competition who have scientific and pedagogical experience report at a department meeting on their scientific and pedagogical activities for the period preceding the competition.

Candidates participating in the competition to fill vacancies have the right to conduct an open class in the taught discipline with the participation of members of the teaching staff of the relevant department before submitting the document package to the HR department.

The department's conclusion for each candidate is sent to the Competition Commission in the form of an extract from the minutes of the department meeting.

Competition participants have the right to attend the department meeting and review its conclusion.

Candidates participating in the competition for the position of Head of Department/Course present a presentation on the strategic development of the corresponding department/course for three years at the Competition Commission meeting.

Competition period: from June 15, 2026, according to the approved schedule.
