Educational program purpose:

Trainingof professionally qualified specialists in thefield ofpharmacy, indemand onthe labormarket ofthe Republicof Kazakhstan

RO1-Takes responsibility for continuous improvement of his professional development, takinginto accountthe latest achievements ofscience and technology, toprovide medicaland pharmaceutical services topatients. RO2-Ableto analyze independently andas ateam the effectiveness ofhis actions, the activities ofthe teamof professionals and the organization asa whole, canmake changesin hiswork andtake responsibility for thefinal resultsof hiswork andthe workof theteam. Applies normative-legal, economicand management knowledge andskills inthe organization and management of entrepreneurial activities. RO4-Implements activities forthe realization of medicinal products andmedical goods, comparesand distinguishes NPA, basic principles of accounting, tests business documentation within professional activities, distinguishes the accounting of goodsand material values; hasskills in organizing workin themain linksof the pharmaceutical market commodity distribution system, adheresto moraland ethical norms within professional activities. RO5-Compares methods andapplies marketing and information systems inthe organization of production activities of pharmaceutical organizations in the manufacture and production ofmedicinal productsand ensuresthe processof organizing pharmaceutical activities in theretail and wholesale links, arguesthe listof medicinal products introduced by theKNF; mainrules ofGOMBP RKmedicinal productsand hasskills in prescribing a prescription for medicinal products. RO6 - Isable toapply knowledgeof mathematics, fundamental and engineering sciences inthe development of technology of medicinal products. RO7 - Evaluates the maintrends inthe development of pharmaceutical technologies andnew directions in thecreation ofmodern medicinal forms and therapeutic systems, develops methods ofspecific prevention and treatment, prepares technological anddesign documentation in accordance with national normative-technical legal actsin thefield of healthcare. RO8- Characterizes, interprets, and evaluates theresults ofin-house quality controlof medicinal products andstudies pharmaceutical quality system documentation; uses laboratory and technological equipment; prepares documentation on laboratory-packaging operations. RO9- Discusses and evaluates botanical literature materials; possesses skills inmacro- and microscopic analysis; determines reserves; conducts evaluation of qualitative and histochemical reactionson themain biologically active substances contained inmedicinal plantsand raw materials, developsAND andcontrols thequality ofmedicinal productsin accordance with current requirements. RO10- Knowsand applies scientific principles and achievements of basic biomedical sciences, knowsthe structure and functionsof organsat thelevel from molecules tocells oforgans andthe whole organism innormal and pathology, aswell asmolecular basesof structure and functionsof cells, processesof growth, development, anddivision; describes and formulatesa conclusion on etiology, pathogenesis and explainsthe main principles and physiological mechanisms underlying thelife activities of theorganism. RO11- Distinguishes and prepares reagents, standard, titrated solutions, conduct their control; isable toperform identification, quantitative determination, evaluation of purityand qualityof medicinal products, conduct chemical-toxicological research. RO12- Knowsand describes the patterns, mainevents andselects strategies and tacticsin professional communication ofa pharmacist, including written andoral formsof communication and incase ofnecessity inLatin language, throughan interpreter, maintaining confidentiality. RO13- Applies scientific principles, methodsand knowledgein pharmaceutical practice andresearch, analyzesthe obtained information, uses, evaluates and practices informative-educational work, network computer technologies, databases, software packages and provisions ofnormative, reference and scientific literature tosolve professional tasks.

1. 2. Organizational and managerial activities RO3 - Applies normative-legal, economic, and managerial knowledge and skillsin organizing and conducting entrepreneurial activities. RO4 - Carriesout activities related tothe implementation of pharmaceutical products andmedical goods, comparesand differentiates NPA, basic principles of accounting, tests business documentation within professional activities, distinguishes the accounting of goodsand materials; possesses skills in organizing workin themain linksof the pharmaceutical market'scommodity distribution system, adheresto moraland ethical norms within professional activities.
