COUNCIL OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

The Council of Young Scientists of the NEI “Kazakh–Russian Medical University” was established by order of the University administration and operates within the Department of Scientific Research of the NEI “KazRusMedUniversity”. The main objective of the Council is to promote the development of scientific and innovative activities of young scientists at the University. The activities of the Council of Young Scientists of the NEI “KazRusMedUniversity” are carried out in accordance with the approved work plan. Members of the CYS perform the functions of advisors for students’ research work (SRW), and ensure the preparation and support of student presentations for participation in annual national and international scientific conferences. Purpose of Activity The purpose of the Council’s activity is to support and develop the scientific initiative of young researchers of the University, to enhance their research competence and involvement in scientific and innovative activities, as well as to create a sustainable environment for the implementation of scientific ideas and projects. Main Areas of Activity In order to achieve its objectives, the Council of Young Scientists of the NEI “KazRusMedUniversity”: Coordinates the activities of young scientists of faculties and structural divisions of the NEI “KazRusMedUniversity” in the organization of scientific research, including coordination of research work plans, assistance in the formation of research groups and working teams, as well as ensuring interaction between faculties and structural divisions of the University on the implementation of scientific initiatives of young scientists; Provides organizational and methodological support in conducting scientific events, including participation in the preparation of programs for conferences, seminars, and round tables, consulting on the preparation and formatting of scientific materials, as well as assistance in organizing scientific trips of young scientists to participate in national and international scientific events, internships, and educational programs; Organizes and conducts scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, forums, and other scientific events aimed at discussing current issues of modern science and medicine, exchanging scientific experience, presenting research results, and developing scientific communication among young scientists; Promotes the development of interdisciplinary interaction among young scientists, including by creating conditions for joint work of representatives of various scientific fields, supporting initiatives for the implementation of integrated and interdisciplinary research projects, and stimulating scientific cooperation focused on solving practice-oriented and socially significant tasks; Carries out systematic informing of young scientists about scientific conferences, symposia, seminars, research project competitions, grant programs, internships, and research initiatives implemented by scientific and educational organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, including through the official information resources of the University; Supports initiatives of young scientists in the field of research, innovation, and project activities, including consulting on the development of scientific and applied projects, preparation of applications for participation in competitions and grant programs, as well as assistance in presenting research results; Carries out other activities aimed at developing the scientific potential of young scientists and increasing the effectiveness of their scientific work, provided that such activities correspond to the goals of the Council of Young Scientists of “KazRusMedUniversity” and the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
