A student from the Faculty of Dentistry secured victory at the University Chess Cup 2026 national chess tournament

First-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, Kodiri Nuqrabonu, delivered a strong performance at the University Chess Cup 2026 national tournament, where she confidently took 1st place among the girls. Throughout the competition, she achieved an outstanding result by winning 9 out of 9 games, demonstrating a high level of skill, concentration, and strategic thinking over the course of the tournament. This victory allowed her to continue participating in the selection process for the World University Chess Championship, opening new opportunities for international competitions.
