On April 28, 2026, the Kazakh-Russian Medical University held an awards ceremony for the winners of the Chinese-Kazakh anatomical drawing competition “Medical Artistry,” organized jointly with the Xianyang Vocational and Technical Institute. The discipline “Illustrative Anatomy” was developed at the initiative of Rector Jainakbayev Nurlan Temirbekovich and has been included in the university curriculum as an elective discipline since 2022. This course combines the study of human anatomy with artistic skills, contributing to the development of students’ spatial thinking, attentiveness, and professional understanding of the structure of the human body. The “Medical Artistry” competition has become an international platform for demonstrating students’ creative and professional skills in the field of medical anatomy. Students from Kazakhstan and China participated in the event, presenting original anatomical drawings and artistic works. The awards ceremony was attended by representatives of the Xianyang Vocational and Technical Institute, as well as a representative of the University of Southern California Colleen Kraft.
