New additions to the library collection of Kazakh-Russian Medical University

The Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of Kazakh-Russian Medical University has once again contributed educational and methodological literature to the university’s scientific library for students. The library collection has been supplemented with four copies of the methodological guidelines in Russian titled "Optimization of Care for Patients with Anxiety in Primary Health Care Organizations". The publication is intended for use in the educational process by students, interns, and residents specializing in psychiatry. The guidelines were prepared by faculty members of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology: S.Z. Yeshimbetova, N.I. Raspopova, and A.A. Abetova. In addition, the library received four copies of the methodological guidelines in Kazakh titled "Diagnostics and Prevention of Suicidal Behavior in Persons with Mental Disorders During Compulsory Treatment". The authors of the publication are S.Z. Yeshimbetova, N.I. Raspopova, R.A. Markhabayeva, and K.A. Kopzhasarova, faculty members of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology. The methodological guidelines were approved and recommended for publication by the Academic Council of Kazakh-Russian Medical University (Protocol №5 dated December 26, 2025). Previously, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology had also contributed educational, scientific, and methodological publications in Kazakh, Russian, and English to the university library. These publications include textbooks, methodological manuals, monographs, reference materials, and recommendations on psychiatry, suicide prevention, forensic psychiatry, adolescent mental health, and other relevant areas of modern medicine. The Department of Psychiatry and Narcology continues its active work to provide students of all levels with modern educational and scientific literature in three languages. This initiative aims to improve the quality of education, integrate the latest achievements of medical science and clinical practice, and create favorable conditions for the professional training of future specialists.
