  1. Bolat Bimendeevich Baimakhanov (Baimakhanov/Baymakhanov Bolatbek) – permanent member of the Dissertation Council.
  2. Kamalidin Orynbayevich Sharipov – Deputy Chair and permanent member of the Dissertation Council.
  3. Valentin Manarbekovich Madyarov – Chair and permanent member of the Dissertation Council.
  4. Saule Aidaratovna Taukeleva – Academic Secretary and permanent member of the Dissertation Council.
The composition of the Dissertation Council was approved by Order No. 05-05-02-57-н.қ dated 30 April 2025.

Information for Doctoral Students:

The following documents must be submitted to the Dissertation Council:

  1. Application addressed to the Rector of the University;
  2. Application addressed to the Chair of the Dissertation Council;
  3. Reviews from domestic and international academic advisers;
  4. Positive conclusion of an extended meeting of the graduating department;
  5. A hardbound copy and an electronic copy of the dissertation where the degree is defended in the form of a dissertation;
  6. An abstract in Kazakh, Russian and English. The abstract must describe the dissertation topic and aim, research objectives and methods, the main provisions submitted for defence, the principal research results, justification of the novelty and significance of the results, alignment with scientific development priorities or state programmes, and the doctoral student’s contribution to each publication; Dissertation Abstract.docx
  7. List of scientific works and copies certified by the Academic Secretary;
  8. Conclusion of the ethics commission of the higher and postgraduate education institution where the doctoral student studied, confirming the absence of violations in the planning, assessment, selection, conduct and dissemination of research results, including protection of the rights, safety and well-being of research subjects and the environment; Ethics Committee Opinion.docx
  9. Extract from the minutes of the University Academic Council and/or an order approving the dissertation topic and appointing academic advisers;
  10. Academic transcript;
  11. Certificate from the University scientific library or the National Center of Science and Technology Evaluation confirming publications in international scientific journals.
