Kazakh-Russian Medical University has been successfully educating international students from various countries since 2016. In January 2024, the Department for Work with International Students was reorganized into the Medical International School. More than 500 students from India and Pakistan have already graduated from our university, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
Today, more than 600 students study at the Medical International School from countries such as India, Pakistan, Jordan, the Philippines, Palestine, Bangladesh, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Every year our graduates successfully pass the process of examinations and diploma verification in accordance with the requirements and standards of their home countries.
Our university is registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) and the Medical Council of India, which confirms compliance with the educational standards of these countries.
The admission of international students is carried out through partner companies of our university, which also serve as official representatives of international students throughout the entire period of study — from enrollment to graduation. To apply to the Kazakh-Russian Medical University, an international applicant must receive an official invitation from the university.

The academic staff of the Medical International School consists of professors, Doctors of Medical Sciences, Candidates of Medical Sciences, and associate professors. Our faculty members are highly qualified specialists who conduct classes exclusively in English. Their English language proficiency is confirmed by IELTS/TOEFL certificates.
Practical training in specialized clinical disciplines is conducted at leading clinics in Almaty. For the 2025–2026 academic year, cooperation agreements have been concluded with 127 clinical bases in the city, region, and districts for a period ranging from 1 to 3 years, depending on the number of enrolled students.
